I rent my unit directly as well as through VRBO so you can decide if you are more comfortable renting through the VRBO system or renting directly from me and saving the $200-$400 VRBO fees. Payments can be securely made by PayPal or checks are also accepted if booked early enough. All the Treasure Island Resort policies not pertaining to renting will still be applicable.
The main policies that Treasure Island Resort is very strict about are that there is NO SMOKING IN THE UNIT and that the RENTOR MUST BE 25. Please adhere to these rules as you could be evicted if you break them. To see the detailed rental terms go to the 'Rental Terms' tab. It lists the details of the rental payment, cancellations, etc.
Pricing before my discount is applied is primarily set by the Treasure Island Resort and ranges from $2350 a month during the snowbird winter months to $2700 a week for prime 4th of July times (see rate table below). My standard rental condo discount is 10% for full week rentals but discounts during non-peak periods or last minute rentals may go up to 15%, 20%, or as much as 25%. Snow birds are welcome and can get a 15% discount on a 4 month winter rental.
Standard fees with every rental include a one time cleaning fee of $150 and a $99 Damage Insurance fee that covers any damage to the unit. Therefore, no deposit required for a rental.
Check-in is just like a hotel. There is a registration desk on the ground floor between the parking garage and the units. You can park right in front of it in the pull-in area and check-in, or go park in my well marked, designated spot on the 4th floor of the parking garage and unload first if you desire. They are open from 9am till 5pm and if you arrive when no one is there then put a note on your dash that you arrived late/early and just park, unload, and go to the room. You can go to check-in the next day when they open up. There is a $20 registration fee that Treasure Island Resort collects at check-in that they keep and provide a parking pass and pool bands. With advance notice, I can usually provide a parking pass and pool bands if you want to bypass the check-in process and save the $20 (but dont tell them).
And of course there are the FL taxes (12% total).
